Most of us answer with whatever is easy to count: quiet times kept, Sundays attended, a full church calendar. Those are good things. But what about the ordinary hours between Sundays, where the Holy Spirit is leading and most of us hardly notice? Many believers carry a quiet unease about that gap and have never been able to put words to it.
Pilocon exists to help you recognize it, and then to do something about it. The books help you recognize it. I call it the wobble, and I don’t think it means you have failed; I think it is a signal. The Disciple’s Compass is what you do with that signal: one short loop, four bearings, kept daily, on paper if you like. The Wobble Factor is the broadcast; the Disciple’s Compass is what it broadcasts. Everything else here comes alongside those two.
The Compass points toward Christ; everything else takes its bearing from there.
